Fun Theme Ideas For Weddings in Arizona

Who doesn’t love a themed wedding? Going with a particular style, or mood even, can make planning a wedding a lot easier by narrowing choices down. It also allows your guests to feel a bit more involved if they know the theme ahead of time. Here at Dance FX Studios in Mesa, Arizona, we have seen a few themes in particular that have been really popular! Which one speaks to you?

Country Western Theme

Here in the Arizona desert, plenty of people go with a Country-themed wedding! It’s an obvious choice with the cacti and natural beauty that abound. If you decide to embrace Arizona’s own ambiance, here are a few fun ideas for your big day:

• Cowboy boots are a MUST! There’s nothing cuter than a bride and groom in matching boots, am I right?
• Try having a Moonshine bar. You should have a decent selection of other beverages, of course, but goodness knows Cowboys love their homemade booze. Since moonshine can be made in just about any flavor, it’s pretty easy to keep everyone happy.
• Learn some Two Step or Country Swing for your first dance. Instead of doing the 8^th-grade sway, you can really blow everyone away with some awesome turns – maybe even a dip or two!

Great Gatsby

• Whether you loved the movie or you just feel like you were born in the wrong time, the Roaring Twenties make for a great wedding theme. The time of prohibition brought out plenty of scandal, but it also brought some amazing style and attitude! If you want to spend your day looking like it should be in black and white, try these tips:

• Speaking of salsa… Make your first dance fiery by dancing Salsa! Latin dances are super sexy and feisty, so you’ll definitely get an awesome reaction to a dance like that.
